The matters that need attention during the initial installation of the chiller have five points: making sure the accessories are complete, ensuring the working voltage of the chiller is stable and normal, matching the power frequency, forbidden to run without water, and making sure that the air inlet and outlet channels of the chiller are smooth!
As a good helper for cooling industrial laser equipment, what are the matters that need attention during the initial installation of the chiller?
1. Make sure the accessories are complete.
Check the accessories according to the list after the new machine is unpacked to avoid the failure of normal installation of the chiller due to the lack of accessories.
2. Ensure the working voltage of the chiller is stable and normal.
Make sure the power socket is in good contact and the ground wire is grounded reliably. It is necessary to pay attention to whether the power cord socket of the chiller is connected well and the voltage is stable. The normal working voltage of S&A standard chiller is 210~240V (110V model is 100~120V). If you really need a wider operating voltage range, you can customize it separately.
3. Match the power frequency.
Mismatched power frequency can cause damage to the machine! Please use the 50Hz or 60Hz model according to the actual situation.
4. It is strictly forbidden to run without water.
The new machine will empty the water storage tank before packing, please ensure that the water tank is filled with water before turning on the machine, otherwise the pump will be easily damaged. When the water level of the tank is below the green (NORMAL) range of the water level meter, the cooling capacity of the cooling machine will drop slightly, please ensure that the water level of the tank is within the green (NORMAL) range of the water level meter. It is strictly forbidden to use the circulation pump to drain the water!
5. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet channels of the chiller are smooth!
The air outlet above the chiller should be more than 50cm away from the obstacle, and the air inlet on the side should be more than 30cm away from the obstacle. Please make sure the air inlet and outlet of the chiller are smooth!
Please follow the above tips to install the chiller correctly. The dust net will cause the chiller to malfunction if it is severely blocked, so it must be dismantled and cleaned regularly after the chiller has been in use for a period of time.
Good maintenance can keep the chiller's cooling efficiency and extend the service life.
