The development and revolution of digital printing technology has greatly changed the situation of tag making. With flexible printing design, various shape needs to be cut. Traditionally, tag laser cutting is performed by mechanical molding press and slitting machine. In this circumstance, different shapes require different molds and it takes a huge cost to produce and store those molds. Besides, different shapes also require different knives. While changing the knifes, those machines need to be stopped, which reduces the production efficiency. However, with CO2 laser cutting machine which has a high-speed scanner, tag cutting becomes a very flexible and easy task. What’s more, it can also cut different shapes of tag without pausing the production process.
When performing the quality cutting, the CO2 laser will generate lots of heat. If those heat can not be removed in time, the CO2 laser will easily crack or even break down. Therefore, adding a mini water chiller to cool the CO2 laser has become a common practice for most of the users.
