Many users may have a little concern when they first use the industrial air cooled chiller unit. Well, there is no need to worry about, for the attached user manual indicates almost everything you need to know about this chiller. Now let’s take air cooled chiller unit CW-5300 as an example.
1.Open the package to check if the chiller is intact with necessary accessories needed;
2.Screw the cap of the water filling inlet to add water inside the chiller. Check out the water level on the level check so that water won’t overflow;
3.Connect the water pipe to the water inlet and water outlet;
4.Plug in the power cable and switch on. It’s forbidden to run the water without water.
4.1 After the power switch is on, the water pump starts to work. In the first start, there often will be bubble inside water channel, which will occasionally trigger water flow alarm. But the chiller will be back to normal after running a few minutes
4.2 Check if the water tube leaks or not;
4.3 After the power switch is on, it is normal that the cooling fan doesn’t work temporarily if the water temperature is lower than the setting temperature. In this case, the temperature controller will automatically control the working status of the compressor, cooling fan and other components;
4.4 It takes a little time for the compressor to start according to different working conditions. Therefore, it is not suggested to turn on and off the chiller so frequently.
5.Check the level of the water tank. The first startup of the new chiller empties the air in the water pipe, leading to a slight water level decline, but in order to keep the water level in the green area, it’s allowed to add adequate amount of water again. Please observe and record the current water level and inspect it again after the chiller running for a period of time. If the water level drops obviously, please reinspect the water pipeline leakage.
