Recently, S&A Teyu received several calls from customers who asked for solution to the problem that laser couldn’t work as the water temperature of water chiller rose slowly in winter.

S&A Teyu generally recommends water chillers with heating rod for fiber laser customers, so the problem above should not occur generally as the heating rod will work automatically at low water temperature. But why this problem happened to these customers? Through further learning, S&A Teyu found that these customers didn’t purchase water chillers by directly contacting S&A Teyu, but purchased through Ebay or other channels, but the water chillers purchased by them didn’t have the function of heating.
one of our customers, purchased an S&A Teyu CWFL-1500 dual-temperature dual-dump water chiller with 5.1kW cooling capacity to cool 1500W fiber laser. This water chiller was not equipped with a heating rod, so the initial temperature of the water chiller was very low under an over-low ambient temperature in winter. If the laser has a little heat, then the temperature of water chiller rises slowly and thus affects the laser working. Then, the customer can conduct heat preservation for the chiller, and injecting warm water to the water tank before startup is helpful to improve the situation.
