Comparing with traditional solid-state lasers, fiber lasers are characterized by the following advantages: simple structure, low threshold value, good heat dispersion, high photovoltaic conversion efficiency and high-quality beam. Industrial processing machines such as fiber laser cutting machine and fiber laser welding machine which use fiber laser as laser generator have been widely applied in many different areas thanks to the excellent working performance of fiber laser.
The well known foreign brands of fiber lasers include Coherence, IPG,SPI,TRUMPF and nLIGHT. Mr. Gabor from Hungary owns a laser equipment company which has a branch office in Romania. His company mainly uses 1KW and 10.8KW nLight fiber lasers and 2-4KW IPG fiber lasers.
