How to choose a laser chiller?

The laser chiller plays an important role in the cooling system of the laser, which can provide stable cooling for the laser equipment, ensure its normal operation and prolong its service life. So what should you consider when choosing a laser chiller? We should pay attention to the power, the temperature control accuracy and the manufacturing experience of the laser chiller manufacturers.

The laser chiller plays an important role in the laser cooling system, which can provide stable cooling for the laser equipment, ensure its normal operation and prolong its service life. So what should you consider when choosing a laser chiller?

1. Look at the power of the laser equipment. Match the right laser chiller based on the power of the laser and its cooling needs.

In CO2 glass tube chillers, S&A CW-3000 laser chiller can be used for cooling 80W CO2 laser glass tube; S&A CW-5000 laser chiller can be used for cooling 100W CO2 laser glass tube; S&A CW-5200 laser chiller can be used for cooling 180W CO2 laser glass tube chiller.

In YAG laser chillers, S&A CW-5300 laser chiller can be used for cooling 50W YAG laser generator, S&A CW-6000 laser chiller can be used for cooling 100W YAG laser generator, and S&A CW-6200 laser chiller can be used for cooling 200W YAG laser generator.

In fiber laser chillers, S&A CWFL-1000 fiber laser chiller can be used for the cooling 1000W fiber laser, S&A CWFL-1500 laser chiller can be used for cooling 1500W fiber laser, and S&A CWFL-2000 laser chiller can be used for cooling 2000W fiber laser.

In UV laser chillers, the 3W-5W UV laser can use S&A RMUP-300 or S&A CWUL-05 UV laser chiller, and the 10W-15W UV laser can use S&A RMUP-500 or S&A CWUP-10 UV laser chiller.

2. Look at the temperature control accuracy. Choose a suitable laser chiller according to the temperature control requirements of the laser.

For example, the temperature requirements of CO2 lasers are generally ±2°C to ±5°C, which can be achieved by many industrial water chillers on the market. However, some lasers such as UV lasers have strict requirements on water temperature and temperature control accuracy of ±0.1°C. Many chiller manufacturers may not be able to do it. S&A UV laser chillers with a temperature control accuracy of ±0.1°C can be selected for cooling, which can effectively control Water temperature fluctuation and stable light yield.

3. Look at the manufacturing experience of laser chiller manufacturers.

Generally, the more experienced chiller manufacturers make products, the more trustworthy they are. S&A Chiller was established in 2002, focusing on the manufacture, production and sales of industrial laser chillers. With 20 years of rich experience, it is a good and trustworthy choice when purchasing laser chillers.
