As the technology of domestic 10KW fiber laser becomes mature, more and more 10KW fiber laser cutting machines begin to appear in the market. When it comes to cooling the cutting head of these machines, what should be kept in mind? Well, we learned the following details from our customer as follows:
1.Cooling parameters: the diameter of the outlet pipe of laser cooling machine should be bigger than the diameter (φ8mm) of the cooling water connection of the cutting head; water flow ≥4L/min; water temperature 28~30℃.
2.Water flow direction: output end of high temp. of laser cooling machine -> 10KW fiber laser output head -> cutting head cavity -> input end of high temp. of laser cooling machine -> bottom cavity of the cutting head.
3.Cooling solution: since the bottom cavity of some cutting heads doesn’t have cooling device, it is suggested to add the laser cooling machine to prevent the cutting head from overheating and to guarantee its long-term performance.
