As time goes by, particle will gradually accumulate to become water blockage in the recirculating laser water chiller if water is not clean. Water blockage will lead to bad water flow. That means the heat can not be taken away from the laser machine effectively. Some people might like to use tap water as circulating water. But tap water in fact contains too many particles and foreign substances. That is not desirable. The most suggested water would be purified water, clean distilled water or DI water. In addition, to maintain the water quality, changing out the water every 3 months would be ideal.
