Classification and cooling method of laser marking machine

Laser marking machine can be divided into fiber laser marking machine, CO2 laser marking machine and UV laser marking machine according to different laser types. The items marked by these three types of marking machines are different, and the cooling methods are also different. Low power does not require cooling or uses air cooling, and high power uses chiller cooling.

  1. 1. Fiber Laser Marking Machine

    Fiber laser marking machine, using fiber laser as light source, can mark almost all metal products, so it is also called metal marking machine. Besides, it can also mark on plastic products (such as plastic ABS and PC), wood products, acrylic and other materials. Due to the low power of the laser, it is generally self-contained with air cooling, and there is no need for an external industrial chiller to cool down.

2. CO2 Laser Marking Machine

CO2 laser marking machine uses CO2 laser tube or radio frequency tube as laser, also known as non-metal laser marking machine, which is generally used for marking in clothing, advertising and handicraft industries. According to the size of the power, the chiller with different cooling capacity is configured to ensure that the cooling demand is met.

3. UV Laser Marking Machine

The UV laser marking machine has high marking accuracy, commonly known as "cold processing", which will not cause damage to the surface of the marked item, and the marking is permanent. Many food, medicine and other production dates are mostly marked by UV.

Compared with the above two types of marking machines, the UV marking machine has stricter temperature requirements. At present, the temperature control accuracy of the chiller equipped with UV marking machines on the market can reach ±0.1 °C, which can monitor the water temperature more accurately and ensure the normal operation of the marking machine.
