Reasons and solutions for the low current of laser chiller compressor

When the laser chiller compressor current is too low, the laser chiller cannot continue to effectively cool, which affects the progress of industrial processing and causes great losses to users. Therefore, S&A chiller engineers have summarized several common reasons and solutions to help users solve this laser chiller fault.

During the use of the laser chiller, the failure problem cannot be avoided, and the low current of the laser chiller compressor is also one of the common failure problems. When the laser chiller compressor current is too low, the laser chiller cannot continue to effectively cool, which affects the progress of industrial processing and causes great losses to users. Therefore, S&A chiller engineers have summarized several common reasons and solutions for the low current of laser chiller compressors, hoping to help users solve related laser chiller failure problems.

The common reasons and solutions for the low current of the laser chiller compressor:

1. The leakage of refrigerant causes the current of the chiller compressor to be too low.

Check whether there is oil pollution at the welding place of the copper pipe inside the laser chiller. If there is no oil pollution, there is no refrigerant leakage. If there is oil pollution, find the leakage point. After welding repair, you can recharge the refrigerant.

2. The blockage of the copper pipe causes the current of the chiller compressor to be too low.

Check the blockage of the pipeline, replace the blocked pipeline, and recharge the refrigerant.

3. The compressor failure causes the chiller compressor current to be too low.

Determine whether the compressor is faulty by touching the hot condition of the high-pressure pipe of the chiller compressor. If it is hot, the compressor is working normally. If it is not hot, it may be that the compressor is not inhaling. If there is an internal fault, the compressor needs to be replaced and the refrigerant is recharged.

4. The decrease in the capacity of the compressor starting capacitor causes the current of the chiller compressor to be too low.

Use a multimeter to measure the compressor starting capacitor capacity and compare it with the nominal value. If the capacitor capacity is less than 5% of the nominal value, the compressor starting capacitor needs to be replaced.

The above are the reasons and solutions for the low current of industrial chiller compressor summarized by the engineers and after-sales team of S&A industrial chiller manufacturer. S&A chiller has been committed to the  R&D, manufacture and sale of industrial chillers for 20 years, with rich experience in laser chiller manufacturing and good after-sales support services, it's a good choice for users to trust!
