Pull out the heater. Unscrew the cover of the water temp probe and remove the probe. Use a cross screwdriver to remove the screws on both sides of the top of the water tank. Remove the water tank cover. Use a wrench to unscrew the black plastic nut and remove the black plastic connector. Remove the silicone ring from the connector. Replace the old black connector with a new one. Install the silicone ring and components from the inside of the water tank to the outside. Mind the up and down directions.
