The chiller cooling capacity, the flow of the chiller and the lift of the chiller are the main points of large-format printing machine configuration chiller.
How should large-format printers be configured with water chillers?
Airbrush is a large printer products, using solvent-based or UV-curable ink, solvent-based ink has a strong corrosive and odor, UV ink type is a newer product, through ultraviolet light (UVled lamp) irradiation, so that the ink quickly curing, airbrush width is very large, in 3.2 meters to 5 meters, mainly used in the advertising industry and large outdoor advertising.
After the printer print, after UVled lamp curing, ink in the pattern printing is complete when the curing has been completed. UV lamp in the strong irradiation, the temperature will be very high, its own no way to dissipate heat well, more than the use of UV chiller to cool down. Large-format printer chiller configuration can start from the following points:
1. Configure according to the chiller cooling capacity.
According to the UV lamp power, select the matching cooling capacity of the chiller, UV lamp power, the larger the matching chiller cooling capacity to be larger, such as cooling 2KW-3KW UVLED light source, choose 3000W cooling capacity of the S&A CW-6000 chiller; cooling 3.5KW-4.5KW UVLED light source, choose 4200W cooling capacity of S&A CW-6100 chiller .
2. Configure according to the flow of the chillers.
The size of the flow, related to the effect of refrigeration, some UV lamps need a large flow, if the chiller flow is small, it will not achieve the effect of refrigeration.
3. Configure according to the lift of the chillers.
Lift is also an important factor that will affect the cooling effect.
Some customers will also have other requirements for the chiller, such as the requirement to add flow control valves, according to the demand to adjust the size of the flow; there are customers require the addition of heating rods, in the low-temperature winter will not have to worry about circulating water freezing and icing, resulting in the chiller can not start. There are also customers will use a chiller, cooling two airbrush, which requires a custom dual-loop chiller, such as S&A CW-5202, a multi-use machine, saving installation space, but also save enough to buy costs.
Chillers need to run a certain amount of time to achieve cooling, to turn on the chiller, and then turn on the UV printer to ensure that there is enough cooling time, and do not worry about the cooling can not reach, damage to the UV lamp.
