Refrigerant is the working medium of the refrigeration circulation in compressor air cooled water chiller. The refrigerant absorbs the heat during vaporization in evaporator and then releases the heat during condensation in condenser. These two processes going back and forth make the chiller refrigerate. There are two types of refrigerants in industrial applications -- environment friendly refrigerant including R134A,R410A and R407C and non environment friendly refrigerant including R22.
In international trade, some countries may require compressor air cooled water chiller delivered with environment friendly refrigerant for the sake of environmental protection. For S&A Teyu compressor air cooled water chillers, they are all charged with environmental friendly refrigerants.
