There are many reasons which contribute to the breakdown of the recirculating cooling chiller compressor. Refrigerant leakage is one of them. To identify if there is refrigerant leakage in the recirculating cooling chiller, it is suggested to check if the compressor is working (vibrating). If yes, then check the air ventilated by the chiller is hot or cold. If the air is cold, then there is a big possibility of refrigerant leakage. In addition, users can identify if there is refrigerant leakage by checking if there is oil stain on the internal copper pipe of the compressor and if the refrigerant pressure is low.
