It happens quite often that the refrigeration efficiency of 3D laser marking machine air cooled water chiller impairs as time goes by. Well, today we offer a few tips that can improve your chiller’s refrigeration efficiency. 




1.Change the water every 3 months and use purified water or clean distilled water as the circulating water;

2.Clean the dust gauze and the condenser regularly;

3.The water level of the air cooled water chiller should be maintained at a normal range.

Unstable voltage generally has nothing to do with the high power fiber laser cutting machine recirculating water chiller itself. It happens normally due to the fact that the supplied voltage is not stable. Therefore, it is suggested to install a voltage stabilizer and avoid the recirculating water chiller working for a long time under unstable voltage, for this can cause malfunction inside the recirculating water chiller or burn out the water pump inside.

A Taiwanese customer Manager Huang wanted to buy a suitable water chiller. He preferred S&A Teyu CW-5000 chiller with a cooling capacity of 800W, with the cooling requirements as follows: 1. The temperature of the aluminum plate was approximately 200℃ that should be reduced to 23℃ in 4 minutes; and 2. When the temperature of circulating cooling water was 23℃, it was measured that the temperature of the cold plate was kept at 31℃.


It is learnt by referencing to the performance curve of S&A Teyu CW-5000 chiller that when the room temperature and the outlet water temperature are 20℃ and 20℃, the cooling capacity will be 627W. However, it is determined from the experience of S&A Teyu in providing compatible chillers that CW-5000 chiller cannot achieve cooling of the aluminum plate with the temperature of 200℃ to 23℃ in 4 minutes, while the CW-5300 chiller with a cooling capacity of 1,800W (when the room temperature and the outlet water temperature are 20℃ and 20℃, the cooling capacity will be 627W) will meet the cooling requirements of Manager Huang.

When S&A Teyu recommended the CW-5300 chiller to Manager Huang and analyzed the reason for such recommendation, Manager Huang readily placed an order of the CW-5300 chiller. If the CNC spindle water chiller can’t reach the set water temperature, the reasons might be:


1.There is something wrong with the temperature controller, so it is unable to indicate water temperature normally;

2.The selected CNC spindle water chiller doesn’t match the head load of the CNC spindle;

3.There is refrigerant leakage inside the CNC spindle water chiller;

4.The place where the CNC spindle water chiller is put is too cold or too hot.
