Alongside the Light: Participating in a Meaningful Journey to Golog Daozha Welfare School

A School Built on Long-Term Dedication
Nestled in the mountains of Golog, Qinghai Province, Golog Daozha Welfare School is the region's only privately founded welfare school providing nine years of compulsory education. Since its establishment, the school has offered children from remote pastoral communities a stable place to learn and grow.
For more than two decades, Principal Thubten Nyima and the school's educators have devoted themselves to providing education, accommodation, and daily care for children in need. Their long-term commitment has helped create opportunities for many students to continue their education and pursue broader futures.
The school's 21st anniversary celebration brought together teachers, students, guests, and representatives from various organizations to mark this important milestone.

A Journey Across China to the Plateau
In mid-July 2026, participants traveled from different parts of China to Golog to attend the anniversary celebration and charity donation ceremony.
During the event, a donation ceremony was held, followed by anniversary celebrations and exchanges between guests, teachers, and students. For many participants, the visit also provided an opportunity to learn more about the school's story, its educational mission, and the people who have dedicated themselves to supporting children in this remote region.
The representative from TEYU Chiller was honored to participate in the event and appreciated the opportunity to visit the school alongside many other attendees.

Exploring the World of Laser Technology
One of the activities during the visit was a laser science session prepared for the students.
Through videos and easy-to-understand explanations, students were introduced to how laser technology is applied in everyday products and modern industries, including consumer electronics, intelligent manufacturing, new energy vehicles, and aerospace applications. They also learned that precision manufacturing often relies on supporting technologies, such as stable temperature control systems, to help equipment operate reliably.
The classroom quickly became interactive as students asked questions and shared their curiosity about science, technology, and the wider world beyond the plateau.

Students listened attentively during the science session, performed confidently during the anniversary celebration, and enjoyed spending time together throughout the day's activities.
