Is the pump flow in closed loop water cooling chiller the bigger the better?

As we all know, pump flow is closely related to the performance of the closed loop water cooling chiller. But many users would think that the bigger pump flow, the better. But is it really the case? Well, we will explain a little bit here.

1.If the pump flow is too small -

If the pump flow is too small, the heat can not be taken away from the laser equipment very quickly. Therefore, the overheating problem of the laser machine can not be dealt with effectively. In addition, since the cooling water speed is not fast enough, the temperature difference between water inlet and water outlet will become bigger, which is not good for the laser machine

2.If the pump flow is too big -

If the pump flow is too big, it does guarantee the cooling performance of the industrial water cooling chiller. But this will increase unnecessary equipment cost and electricity cost. 

From the above explanation, we can see the neither too big pump flow nor too small pump flow is good for the closed loop industrial water chiller itself. The only guideline for pump flow is that the pump flow that is suitable is the best.
