Congratulations to TEYU S&A Ultrahigh Power Fiber Laser Chiller CWFL-60000 for winning the "2023 Laser Processing Industry - Ringier Technology Innovation Award"! Our executive director Winson Tamg delivered a speech thanking the host, co-organizers, and guests. He said, “It is no easy feat for supporting equipment like chillers to receive an award.” TEYU S&A Chiller specializes in the R&D and production of chillers, with a rich history in the laser industry spanning 21 years. TEYU Chiller exported two additional batches of about 300 industrial chillers units to Asian and European countries on April 20. 200+ units of CW-5200 and CWFL-3000 industrial chillers were shipped to European countries, and 50+ units of CW-6500 industrial chillers were shipped to Asian countries.

The power of fiber lasers can be increased through module stacking and beam combination, during which the overall volume of the lasers is also increasing. In 2017, a 6kW fiber laser composed of multiple 2kW modules was introduced into the industrial market. At that time, 20kW lasers were all based on combining the 2kW or 3kW. This led to bulky products. After several years of effort, a 12kW single-module laser comes out. Compared to the multi-module 12kW laser, the single-module laser has a weight reduction of about 40% and a volume reduction of about 60%. TEYU rack mount water chillers have followed the trend of miniaturization of lasers. They can efficiently control the temp of fiber lasers while saving space. The birth of the compact TEYU fiber laser chiller, combined with the introduction of miniaturized lasers, has enabled entry into more application scenarios.

Having watched the previous CWUP-40 Chiller Temperature Stability Test, a follower commented that it is not accurate enough and he suggested to test with scorching fire. S&A Chiller Engineers quickly accepted this good idea and arranged a “HOT TORREFY ” experience for the chiller CWUP-40 to test its ±0.1℃ temperature stability. First to prepare a cold plate and connect the chiller water inlet & outlet pipes to the cold plate’s pipelines. Turn on the chiller and set the water temperature at 25℃, then paste 2 thermometer probes on the water inlet and outlet of the cold plate, ignite the flame gun to scorch the cold plate. The chiller is working and the circulating water quickly takes away the heat from the cold plate. After 5-minute burning, the temperature of chiller inlet water rises to about 29℃ and can not go up anymore under the fire. After 10 seconds off the fire, the chiller inlet and outlet water temperature quickly drop to about 25℃, with temperature difference stable...

Recently, a laser processing enthusiast has bought the high-power and ultrafast S&A laser chiller CWUP-40. Having opened the package after its arrival, they unscrew the fixed brackets on the base to test whether the temperature stability of this chiller can reach ±0.1℃. The lad unscrews the water supply inlet cap and fills pure water to the range within the green area of the water level indicator. Open the electrical connecting box and connect the power cord, install the pipes to the water inlet and outlet port and connect them to a discarded coil. Put the coil in the water tank, place one temperature probe in the water tank, and paste the other to the connection between the chiller water outlet pipe and the coil water inlet port to detect the temperature difference between the cooling medium and chiller outlet water.
